Weddings
Your ceremony will be designed especially for you and your partner.
It will reflect your beliefs and culture and will create lasting memories.
Making memories
It is my absolute privilege and joy to hear couples’ stories: how they met, what they thought of each other, even perhaps how it nearly went awry: meeting their friends and their families: the proposal, who, and when: and even if hobbies were shared.
Getting to know you
After taking the time to get to know each of you individually, I'll be able to offer tailored suggestions for structuring your ceremony. This might include recommending wedding readings, poems, and music that resonate with your unique bond. I can even guide you in crafting your own love story and wedding vows, ensuring they reflect your deepest feelings and promises to each other.
Drawing inspiration from your shared stories, I'll skillfully blend traditional elements with creative touches that showcase your beliefs, values, and personalities. Together, we can explore themes that speak to your relationship and involve your loved ones, including furry family members if you wish.
Every couple is different, and together, lets make this most memorable day, perfect for you.
Renewing your vows
A celebrant-led wedding vow renewal offers a beautiful opportunity to reaffirm your love surrounded by your loved ones. I'm here to turn your vision for this day into reality, whether you prefer a less formal or a more traditional ceremony. It's entirely up to you, and together we can design the perfect celebration. Whether you dream of exchanging vows by a tranquil river, in a blooming garden, or even on horseback, the possibilities are endless. We can incorporate symbolic rituals involving your family and friends, host a charming tea party, or even make it a cinematic experience by watching your favorite film together. Let's work together to craft an unforgettable occasion that will create cherished memories to last a lifetime.
Examples of some rituals
Symbolic Rituals
There are many and varied rituals that can be a part of your ceremony. These are a fantastic way of bringing blended families together, and can even involve the guests. It will make your ceremony very memorable.
Oathing Stone
This is an ancient tradition where the couple place their hands on a stone while saying their vows. In other words, setting their vows in stone. The stone can be painted by the couple beforehand with their love symbols.
Ring warming
The rings will be put on a cushion, or particular receptacle. This is then passed through the guests, each holding the cushion, and making a wish for the betrothed. When it reaches the couple, it is saturated with love.
Sand ceremony
This is a fabulous way of engaging children and parents. Each will choose a colour of sand and they will pour their sand into the glass bowl. This will create colourful layers, and will symbolise that the sand can never be separated.
Planting a tree
The couple will find a tree that they both love. It will be planted in a pot, and the couple can take turns to add soil. This can then be re-planted in their garden.
The Plan
Together we can discuss and research the rituals that best suit you, your families, and your vision for your celebration.
